~ One must love a Cat on its terms ~

Terms and Conditions

Cats will only be accepted into the cattery if they are in good health and you must ensure that you bring with you a current Certificate of Vaccination that confirms your cats inoculations are up to date or have recently been completed within the last 28 days.  The certificate will be kept at the cattery until you return.  No cat will be accepted into the cattery unless it has been inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. All cats should have been treated for fleas and wormed recently.  On arrival or whilst in the cattery should any cat require treatment for internal or external parasites (i.e. fleas, worms etc), treatment will be given and a charge will be levied for such.

No male cats over the age of 6 months that have not been neutered can be accepted at the cattery.

Any current or ongoing medical conditions with your cat's health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking.  We are happy to administer any medication your cat may be taking at no extra charge (cat permitting), but please ensure clear written instructions and sufficient supplies are provided for the duration of your cats stay with us.

We reserve the right to refuse any cat that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament or shows signs of illness at the time of boarding.

Should it be necessary to call a vet for any veterinary treatment or illness whilst staying at the Cattery, we shall attempt to contact the owner or their representative to obtain guidance and approval.  All fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner and payment of these fees will be required on collection of the cat.

Cats must be in secure carriers at all times whilst on the premises.

We provide plenty of toys and climbing places for your cat to explore as well as plenty of love and cuddles throughout the day, but if your cat has a favourite item or toy, please bring it along.  We also provide comfortable bedding, but again if your cat has a favourite blanket or bed, to help your cat settle in easily and keep your cat happy, please bring them along also.

If your cat needs a helping hand in the morning to brush their hair, please ensure you bring along their overnight bag!

Any cats not collected within 14 days of the date of on which they are due to depart, and where no communications have been received from the owner, the cat will be re-homed at the discretion of The Garden Cattery.

We guarantee the time you cat is with us at The Garden Cattery will also be a holiday for your cat, so we aim to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
